Nadine Lalonde lives in London, Ontario, Canada with her two teenage children, Alexandra and Adrian. Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, and raised in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, Nadine is fluently bilingual. As employment counselor and college instructor by profession, she is motivated by helping people improve their skills and find gainful employment. Nadine is a self-professed resume guru and her clients agree.

Besides her first novel, Ascension, Nadine has written many technical documents, some poetry, and a play.
Born in the sixties, she was influenced by a wide range of authors, music and characters. Some favorites include Sherlock Holmes, Quincy, Columbo, Law and Order, Anne Rice, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Dean Koontz, The Cure, The Cult, U2, Disney’s The Haunted Mansion, Hellraiser, The Crow, The Highlander, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, and many seventies suspense movies.
